Three Rivers Journey, Peel River Watershed, Yukon

In the summer of 2003, the Yukon Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society organized The Three Rivers Journey Project to generate awareness about the need for conservation in the Peel River Watershed in central Yukon. By canoe and raft, selected artists, writers, biologists, journalists, and photographers from across the country travelled three Yukon Rivers; the Wind, the Snake and the Bonnet Plume, all converging into the Peel River. The work generated by the participants resulted in the production of a travelling art exhibition and the publication of a beautiful book called "Three Rivers: The Yukon's Great Boreal Wilderness".
